Inspiration

This page will feature from time to time a piece of art, a photo, a poem, a book, a movie or a TV show :) that inspires me and I hope will inspire you too.

Sometimes we need more than words to inspire us. I encourage you to find inspiration all around you, to feed your soul and unleash your creativity. I encourage you to create inspiring things yourself.

This time I’ve selected a sculpture called ‘The Bridge’ and a painting of that sculpture called ‘Love and Desire’.

The Bridge

‘The Bridge’ by Leor Noham

‘The Bridge’ is an allegory, a symbol, and as such you can interpret it in any way you see fit. Composed of two tubes in different colours, you may need to use your imagination to see it as a bridge.

The name for this sculpture was given at conception and however it may look like now, for me it will always be a bridge and I love the idea of using imagination to see it as such.

Choosing the ‘The Bridge’ as an inspiration has a special meaning for me in light of the intuitive work I’ve been doing lately and the training I’ve been taking. For more on that check the posts: The White Wolf – A message from a spirit guide, Open Your Heart – to Love and the Question Time Page.

Love and Desire

How can I choose the ‘The Bridge’ sculpture without its painting ‘Love and Desire’?

This painting stand on its own accord, composed of opposites or different aspects of creation: blue and red, vertical and horizontal, yin and yang, masculine and feminine, spirit and body, mind and heart, love and desire. Are those really opposites?

It also reminds me of an old gramophone or a blue wave crashing on a red rock shore … the possibilities are endless. Let your imagination take you to whatever meaning you see in this painting. Use your imagination, observe what’s obvious and make up your own interpretation ;)

Maybe that why I find this painting so inspiring.

Both pieces have a dichotomy in them, a mystery and a story, can you see that?

Love Yourself – Love your Imagination,

Love,

~Leor
